Weather display screen
This screen shows local data whether input by hand or by machine. It gives the latest available archived outdoor data for review. This is not the real-time data; it will remain blank on a new installation until an archived record is created. The default archive interval is 10 minutes. Also shown at the top of the screen is the database currently in use.
This screen also allows review of remote data sourced from the Internet.
If the UK Map Resource is on-screen, each point on the map can be clicked on to show that station's data in the 'remote data' section.
The timestamp of the remote data is automatically adjusted for your time zone according to the Windows time setting of your computer.
This data can then be compared with the locally sourced current data.
Right-clicking on the image window will position the wind rose crosshair - also useful for marking the remote station you have called up on the UK map. The crosshair can be removed by clicking 'Paint Wind Rose', under 'Settings' in the main menu.
Images can also be animated - the system stores the last six images, so you can see how the wind has changed across the UK during the last few hours (providing your software has been running to collect the images). Click the Animation button, bottom right of the screen, to start or stop.

The current weather icon (if you have one set) will be shown if the window is resized vertically. There is not room to include this in the 800x600 standard window. We hope this will not disappoint users of lower resolution screens.
