Raw data screen
This screen displays the data collected by the software in tabulated form.
Local data includes inside temperature/humidity readings, whereas remote data is outdoor only.
Local data can be edited, remote data cannot.
Editing/deleting data
To edit data, double-click on the row you wish to change. The 'input data' screen will appear. You can edit any value.
You can delete a row of values by right-clicking and choosing the delete function. You will be asked to confirm your choice before deletion occurs.
You can also add a weather icon to the data row, and there is a button bottom left of the window called 'Note'. This enables a comment to be added to the data line.
Exporting data
Data can be exported as comma separated values (CSV) format files for further manipulation in a spreadsheet package of your choice. From the main 'File' menu, choose 'Save to CSV (Spreadsheet)'. Choose the location and filename and save the file.
Notes
The max/min temperature values are the maximum and minimum during the archive interval. This is of more value during a longer interval - if the temperature dips down during the night and is being logged every hour or two then you will still have the low reading. However if you are archiving data every few minutes the values will follow the main temperature more closely.
A value of '-999' means the data is missing and/or not recorded. This could be for many reasons. In the case of remote data, sites do not always supply every parameter and this is beyond our control.
